Asia Internet Holding, a JV between Ooredoo and Rocket Internet

April 24, 2014 (Thu): Oredoo, a telecommunications provider in Qatar and Rocket Internet will enter a joint-venture agreement to form Asia Internet Holding with equal share to create and develop online businesses in Asia including Pakistan, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia, , the Gulf Times reported.

Asia Internet Holding will venture ranging from online retail and marketplaces to payment services.
