September 4, 2014 (Thu): Apple Inc. has released an official statement saying that there weren’t any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone. According to the statement, Apple started to investigate immediately on the theft of photos of certain celebrities after it was reported.
After 40 hours of investigation, Apple’s engineers discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on usernames, passwords and security questions. However, there was no breach in its systems.
