Sep 2, 2013 (Mon): Amazon has launched its Kindle Store for Mexico at www.amazon.com.mx, offering Mexican customers over 2 million books and hundreds of thousands of exclusive titles, including works from award-winning authors such as José Emilio Pacheco, Elena Poniatowska and Carlos Monsivais, as well as popular comic characters like Mafalda and Familia Burrón.
In conjunction with the launch, the new Mexico Kindle Store offers as low as MXN$9 (RM2.21) for selected eBooks including works from Paulo Coelho, Quino and Nicholas Sparks.
Meanwhile, Amazon also announced that independent authors and publishers are now able to make their books available in the new Mexico Kindle Store using Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) at http://kdp.amazon.com.mx.
