Amadeus Introduces New Fare Shopping Solution Tool for Travel Agencies

Oct 28, 2013 (Mon): Amadeus, a leading transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, has launched Amadeus Master Pricer Expert (AMPE), a new system which will enable travel agencies in Philippines to find and book the lowest fare possible based on flight availability, Philstar reports.

AMPE features calendar view and extensive and accurate fare search capabilities. With AMPE, the travel agencies can get 50 recommendations instantly with sourcing coming directly from the airlines and it can also include specific corporate rates stored in Amadeus system. It also provides features such as cabin specifications, inclusion or exclusion of particular airlines, alternate airports and travel dates, supports processing of complex, multi segment itineraries and performs ticket-ability pre-checks to facilitate the validating carrier choice for ticket issuance.
