Feb 10, 2014 (Mon): According to a report by Reuters, the online payment provider owned by Alibaba Group, Alipay completed more than 2.78 billion mobile transactions with a total value topping US$148 billion (RM493 billion) from over 100 million users in 2013. Alibaba said this figure is higher than mobile payment transactions processed by PayPal and Square combined.
