Agoda Launches AI Booking Form Bot to Reduce Last-Minute Drop-Offs and Boost Booking Confidence

Agoda has introduced an AI-powered Booking Form Bot to answer travelers’ last-minute questions during checkout. The tool aims to reduce booking friction by providing instant, context-aware responses at the final stage of the reservation journey.


SINGAPORE, 12 JANUARY 2026 – Digital travel platform Agoda has launched the Booking Form Bot, an AI-powered chatbot designed to support travelers at the final stage of the booking process. The new tool provides real-time answers to booking-related questions, helping users complete reservations with greater ease and confidence.

According to Agoda’s internal research, 28 percent of users navigate back to the property page from the booking form to re-check trip details. Further customer insights revealed that uncertainty around promo codes, cancellation policies, and price differences are among the top reasons travelers pause or abandon their bookings.

The Booking Form Bot addresses these pain points by delivering instant, context-aware responses to common questions such as cancellation eligibility, cashback availability, and payment terms. By understanding the user’s live booking session — including selected property, room type, rate plan, and applicable conditions — the bot provides accurate and personalised answers without requiring travelers to leave the checkout page or repeat information.

The new chatbot builds on the success of Agoda’s Property AMA Bot, which currently handles more than 30,000 hotel-related questions each day. With the Booking Form Bot, Agoda extends its AI capabilities directly into the checkout experience, where clarity and timing play a critical role in conversion.

The feature is accessible via a chat icon on the booking form page and is available on both the Agoda mobile app and mobile browser. Agoda said the launch reflects its continued investment in artificial intelligence to make travel planning more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.

By integrating AI assistance at critical decision points, Agoda aims to reduce booking friction while strengthening trust with travelers. The platform continues to expand its ecosystem, offering access to more than six million holiday properties, 130,000 flight routes, and 300,000 activities worldwide.
