CHINA: Access Prepaid, a prepaid card program management business owned by MasterCard WorldWide has formed a partnership with the Agricultural Bank of China to launch a traveller’s cheque product named Cash Passport which allows travellers who do not have credit card to shop without using cash in overseas, China Daily reported.
Industry data showed that 80 million Chinese tourists went abroad in 2012, up 15 percent year-on-year, indicating an increasing demand for cross-border financial products.
