July 23, 2014 (Wed): According to a report by Observer Intelligence, Tmall.com accounted for 50.60 percent of Chinese total B2C retail e-commerce sales in the first quarter of 2014, followed by JD.com (23.3%), Vipshop.com (3%), Tencent B2C (2.6%) and Amazon.cn (2.1%). The top five e-commerce player have accounted for over 81 percent of the total sales.
