Rakuten acquires Webgistix for global logistics expansion

Tue, Jun 11, 2013: Rakuten Inc. has announced its acquisition on 100 per cent ownership of Webgistix, a Las Vegas-based logistics and services company specializing in cloud-based fulfilment technology for e-commerce retailers.

Webgistix, founded in 2001, empowers e-commerce retailers to manage their supply chains more effectively with its cloud-based Webgistix SmartSuite of e-commerce solutions for order fulfillment, freight management and shipment optimization. Webgistix can to do ground delivery which able to cover 98 per cent of e-commerce customers in the United States within 1 to 2 working days.
