Thu, May 30, 2013: MasterCard yesterday, via its statement announced that the largest bank in Myanmar, Kanbawza Bank Limited or KBZ Bank will now be accepting MasterCard payments cards at ATMs throughout the country. Currently, KBZ Bank operates 55 ATMs at convenient locations such as supermarkets, airports, restaurants, hotels and shopping centers.
With the launch, MasterCard has enabled total of 140 ATMs in Myanmar that accept MasterCard and Maestro/Cirrus cards.
