Jun 12, 2014 (Thu): In partnership with Telekom Malaysia (TM) and easyparcel.my, the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) is introducing a new e-commerce reward programme to encourage more online businesses in the country. Under the program, the top 25 SMEs e-commerce success stories will be rewarded with prizes worth up to RM175,000, Bernama reported.
SMEs can participate in the program by registering with any of the three e-commerce training providers namely Lelong.my, MYNIC and easy.my, starts from June 12 until Sept 12 this year. The participating SMEs will be taught how to set-up an online presence, drive traffic to their sites which can be converted into sales, and use related programmes and partners to increase it.
