Mar 3, 2014 (Mon): Verifone, the global leader in secure electronic payment solutions, recently has published the “Payment Showdown” infographic based on 1,000 respondents in the United States to understand how they feel about using a mobile wallet versus a traditional wallet. The survey revealed that:

• 55% of consumers want mobile payments
• 70% want to use smartphones to pay
• 65% prefers credit / debit card as primary payment method
