New BNPL Provider Ablr Rolls Out Its Service in Malaysia with Khind

Ablr is now officially available in Malaysia to bring consumers a seamless Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solution with payment plans of the greatest flexibility in market to date, enabling Malaysians access to essential purchases that can be paid off over time. Its debut serves to financially assist Malaysians over a wide range of needs, encouraging better monetary management through flexible payments for important purchases.

As a fintech company in the Buy Now Pay Later industry, Ablr strives to give Malaysians peace of mind when investing in essentials that can elevate their daily lives and align with their life-fulfilling goals, be it home upgrades, access to healthcare, furthering their education, or enabling them to travel and grow. According to a BNPL survey by ResearchAndMarkets.com, BNPL payments in Malaysia are expected to grow by 109.5% on an annual basis to reach US$601.2 million in 2028. BNPL adoption is expected to grow steadily, recording a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 49.0% during 2022-2028. The BNPL Gross Merchandise Value in the country is also expected to increase from US$287.0 million in 2021 to reach US$6588.3 million by 2028.

Ablr also provides end-to-end support from sign-up process as fast as three business days, onboarding with physical and digital QR codes, marketing support, training of retail and management staff as well as frictionless integration with physical point of sale (POS) systems and online gateways. It is also currently the only BNPL player that does not charge merchants for integration within the merchants’ e-commerce or in-store platforms, nor does it charge for setting up accounts, subscription to the service, and interchange to other platforms. On the customer front, Ablr’s payment plans is currently the most flexible available in the market, enabling customers to pay within 30 days up to 60 months depending on the payment plans made available by merchants on the Ablr platform. There are no hidden costs as Ablr does not charge late fees or late interests and consumers do not pay more than what they agree to upfront.

Payments using Ablr are currently available upon checkout at over 300 merchant points covering Malaysia and Singapore.
