Skrill, via its statement on Thursday, announced it has appointed Roland Schaar as Senior Vice President of Technology. Roland has more than 17 years of experience in the IT industry and 13 in the financial payments sector.
Roland recently joined the Skrill Group following the acquisition of paysafecard, where he was and remains CIO, along with responsibility for IT development and 24/7 operations across the Skrill Group. Prior joining paysafecard, Roland was a senior manager at Accenture, focusing on large-scale post-merger integration projects.
