Mothercare launched in Indonesia, by Kanmo Retail Group
The first Mothercare online store in Southeast Asia was launched in Indonesia by Kanmo Retail Group (KRG), a part of the large K.Aloomall Group. Mothercare Indonesia (www.mothercare.co.id) carries thousands products for mothers, mothers-to-be, babies and young children of over 100 international and local brands.
The online store comes with a Service and Advice section providing tips on parenting, child safety, information on pregnancy, nursery, fashion tips as well as guide to choose car seats and strollers.
According to KRG’s group managing director Hitesh Bharwani, Mothercare will open more online stores in neighbouring countries.
Mothercare Indonesia online store now accepts orders paid by credit card online as well as online banking such as KlikBCA but the delivery is limited within Indonesia, Bharwani added. “The store can accept orders from other countries to be delivered as gifts to their friends and relatives living in Indonesia,” Bharwani said.
Origin from United Kingdom, Mothercare brand carries a reputation for specialism, quality, safety and innovation in providing products and services for mothers, mothers-to-be, babies and young children. KRG operates the “Mothercare” brand name as retail franchisee in Indonesia since 2005. Currently, KRG has more than 40 Mothercare and Early Learning Centre (ELC) stores across the country and has registered over 150 thousand members in its Privilege Club. The club members are entitled to a 10 – 15% discount on all items on the brick-and-mortar stores as well as online store.
