Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) yesterday at Menara Maybank launched its co-brand Manchested United (MU) card – Maybankard Manchester United Visa Infinite, the first ever co-brand MU card in the world targeted at a niche high net worth segment and aims to cement the bank’s leadership in the cards business. The launched was attended by former MU legendary goalkeeper Peter Schemeichel.
With the launch of the new card, Maybank now offers a complete range of MU co-branded cards for every customer segment – whether debit, mass or high net worth. Maybank’s deputy president, Datuk Lim Hong Tat said Maybank aims to increase the number of MU card members from current 500,000 to 800,000 within the next three years following the launch of MU Visa infinite card, reports Bernama news agency.
