MAD Incubator wants more entrepreneurs to adopt online payment

In today second league of D.A.R.E Bizstart Showcase 2012 held in Resource Centre of Technology Park Malaysia, MAD Incubator signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the local online payment service provider owned by MOL Global Group (MOLPay), enabling new internet-based business ventures to adopt online payment easily with the affordable price.

According to the chief executive officer of MAD Incubator Andrew Wong, MAD Incubator is aiming to develop and nurture 1000 entrepreneurs to achieve USD1 million turnover within 3 years. He believes the partnership formed between MAD Incubator and MOLPay able to help them to achieve the target set easily.

In the presentation of MOLPay’s online payment services during the event, MOLPay representative highlighted that through MOLPay solution, online shoppers also can buy online but make cash payment at the selected physical shops or kiosks such as 7-11. “Payment at 7-11 convenience stores will be available for merchants within 1 – 2 months,” Eng Sheng Guan, the chief executive officer of MOLPay told the media. Eng also said every month has about 100 – 150 new merchants to accept online payment through MOLPay and this number shows more and more people set up e-commerce website to sell products or services over the Internet in the country.
