Feb 17, 2014 (Mon): The CEO of Kickstarter, Yancey Strickler via a blog post announced that the law enforcement officials said hackers had sought and gained unauthorized access to some of their customers’ data last week. Yancey said some information about their customers included usernames, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers and encrypted passwords were accessed illegally. However, no credit card data was accessed by hackers, Yancey added.
