Kapersky’s new flagship consumer product secures online transaction via its Safe Money technology

Kapersky Lab has released the latest version of its flagship consumer product – Kapersky Internet Security 2013 Premium Security Suite which will also protect the users for their online purchases and online banking transactions, thanks to the easy-to-use Safe Money feature.

Safe Money technology contains a diverse set of protection methods for when you deal with real money online. Such activity may include making purchases online, working with an electronic payment system like PayPal, or accessing your bank account from your computer. Available in Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, this new feature provides enhanced protection for the users’ banking operations. Safe Money technology is designed to verify the authenticity of online shops or banking sites and also a tool to scan the computer for vulnerabilities as well as a dedicated isolated browser mode. It also includes a tool to counteract key logging for protected browser.

There are total of 14 products from different vendors including Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 were tested by Matousec.com in 15 tests and the final results showed Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 with Safe Money technology was the most effective solution among the 14 participating solutions.
“When we were designing Safe Money for our new product we did our best to consider all the possible ways banking information could be stolen. The effectiveness of this approach, which ensures that the most important online operations automatically enjoy maximum protection – has now been confirmed by independent researchers,” said Oleg Ishanov, Head of Anti-Malware Research, Kaspersky Lab.
