foodpanda aggressively expand its restaurants and clients base after funded with US$20m

Thu, May 9, 2013: The famous online food delivery portal foodpanda announced that foodpanda together with its affiliated brand hellofood have secured more than US$20 million (RM59.27 million) funding from a group of investors. Currently, they operate in 27 countries including Malaysia which branded under foodpanda.my.

Claudio Abitante, the managing director of foodpanda.my said that the funding will be able to help them to bring in some game changing innovations to food delivery in Malaysia. Claudio added that it also helps them aggressively increase their restaurants and customer base and they do expect more household restaurants on their website in the coming months.
