Jun 6, 2014 (Fri): According to the report by Observer Intelligence, the Chinese retail e-commerce sector reached US$73 billion in first quarter of 2014, increased 27.6 percent if compared with the same period of 2013. E-commerce sales conducted via mobile increased 140.8 percent year-on-year to US$10.3 billion which accounting for 14.1% of the total retails e-commerce sales for the period. The report also names the top 5 B2C players – Tmall, JD, Vipshop, Yixun and Amazon China.
