AirAsia Expedia’s website – Expedia.com.my launched officially
Asia’s leading low cost carrier AirAsia and world’s leading online travel company Expedia Inc. have formed up a joint venture namely AirAsia Expedia, with its official website at www.expedia.com.my.
AirAsia Expedia’s CEO Dan Lynn said Expedia.com.my is the only website in Malaysia that offers all the very best flight deals from over 400 airlines in one place, including AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines. With online payment via credit card, the travellers can buy various affordable deals of 150,000 hotels globally and tour packages over 30 local and international destinations from this online site, starting from RM110, he added.
Dan shared the growth rate of online travel in the country which is about 30 per cent and he believed the number will grow further due to Malaysian now is more comfortable and trust to purchase online if compared with the past. He added that AirAsia Expedia is aiming to become the number one travel agency in the country.
